Heidi Bishop, born in Michigan, is a ceramic artist living and working in London. She hand builds functional pieces in porcelain clay, glazed on the inside, leaving the natural clay body on the outside. Heidi is inspired by nature and the fragility of the passing seasons. Her use of pure white porcelain clay gives the impression of vulnerability and strength. The gold edges illuminate the clay body giving the illusion of movement.
