The list is endless but from the top of my head, start the calligraphy course I received as a birthday gift, I also like to write a script and direct a short movie,.
Last movie you saw?
I saw two in a row. The first was 'Jo Jo Rabbit', I wouldn’t say it’s everyone’s taste but I found it one of the most refreshing satirical movies I’d seen in a while. It will tug on your heart strings and fill you with profound sadness at the horrors of humanity one minute, the next you'll be howling with laugher (that’s if you have a dark sense of humour). I'm also coveting every piece of clothing Scarlett Johansson wore in the movie. The second was Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (the jury is still out on this one) I need to see it again to form an opinion, there’s so much going on. I need to watch a Star Wars movie a few times to pick up on the nuances and background information related to the epic Star Wars saga.
How did you come up with the idea for this charm?
Two factors really, my nickname is Kitty Su, it came from my Hello Kitty obsession. I gifted a kitten to my husband who’s a cat lover and whisperer, even though I’m a dog person. Her acute intelligence, wild and quirky personality won me over instantly and we’re both obsessively in love with each other. I thought what would appeal to me as a charm? I've worn a necklace with over 15 different charms on it everyday since I can remember and decided to design a charm that representation of my alter ego Kitty Su and Kitty Suki.
What Charity did you choose and why?
My chosen charity is Women For Women International, I’ve been an avid supporter and donator to the charity for a few years now and have always wanted to collaborate/create something for them with one of the brands I consult for. When the opportunity arose to design a charm for Loquet I instantly knew which charity I wanted to benefit. I really admire the work that Brita Schmidt and her team do for women survivors of war, helping them to rebuild their lives and more importantly educating and equipping them with skills to earn money, regain their confidence and participate fully in their communities.
Priceless, selfless and essential for this world to survive.
What inspires you?
Nature and people, from these two entities the inspirational possibilities are endless.
What is glamour?
For me, it’s the air of confidence which one exudes; it's a look, a feeling, a moment, a happening.
If you could change the world?
Where to start? No more war! The human, financial and environmental impact is far too great.
First thing you do when you wake up?
Smile with my eyes closed and say thank you (in my head) that I’m alive, drink a large glass of water and kiss my husband.
Most unexpected coincidence?
That my husband and I are both Cancerians and born 8 days apart, I’ve basically married the male version of myself.Shop Charm
