Locket Care:
Your locket is a delicate piece of fine jewellery that is designed to be worn every day. To help you care for your locket we have put together some useful tips.
- WATER: Our lockets do not like water, so please do not bath, shower, or swim with your locket
- REMOVING YOUR LOCKET: Take care when removing your locket as they are made of sapphire crystal and can be damaged if they are dropped on a hard surface.
- STORING YOUR LOCKET: We recommend storing your locket in its original box.
- CLEANING YOUR LOCKET: Clean your locket and chain by rubbing it with a dry lint free cloth. Should your locket require a professional clean please contact us at customercare@loquetlondon.com and we will be happy to assist you. DO NOT USE ANY WATER OR JEWELLERY CLEANING SOLUTIONS ON YOUR LOCKET.
Charm Care:
Your charms are made of solid 18k gold and set with diamonds and semi-precious stones. To keep your gemstones sparkling and your gold glowing, soak them with a jewellery cleaning solution that is adequate for gemstones and leave for 10 minutes. Remove, rub gently and dry thoroughly with a lint free cloth. It is important to make sure your charms are completely dry before putting them back in your locket.
Warranty and Repairs
We stand behind every locket, every charm, every detail with the same care that goes into crafting them. If something isn't quite right, we'll make it right.
Your Warranty Coverage
Your Loquet jewellery is guaranteed against any manufacturing defect for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of purchase. If your Loquet jewellery is returned during the warranty period, any component found by our technical services to be defective as a result of a manufacturing defect will be, at our sole discretion, repaired or replaced free of charge.
What Is Not Covered
Your Loquet Warranty does not cover:
- Defects and damages resulting from misuse, negligence, or accident
- Damages caused by improper use (knocks, dents, crushing to the crystal, chain or components), alterations, tampering, dismantling or unauthorised modifications or repairs
- Services, works and repairs performed by anyone other than Loquet
- Damage caused by the use of non-Loquet charms or chains
- Lockets where original hallmarks or identification have been removed, changed, altered, replaced, erased or defaced
- Routine maintenance and cleaning, as well as normal wear and tear and ageing of the locket
- Any defects resulting from contact with water or perfume.
Our Care Services - We understand that jewellery lives alongside you, and when life happens, we're here to help your pieces look as beautiful as the day you first held them.
For our 14k and 18k gold pieces, we offer repair services including replacement crystals and gentle polishing within five years of purchase. These care services are subject to service charges. Please contact our customer service team customercare@loquetlondon.com for pricing and availability.
After the warranty period expires, all services and repairs will be subject to service charges.
Please note that all repairs are handcrafted, which means this process may take up to 8 weeks.
