Your locket is a delicate piece of fine jewellery that is designed to be worn every day. To help you care for your locket we have put together some useful tips.
- WATER: Our lockets do not like water, so please do not bath, shower, or swim with your locket
- REMOVING YOUR LOCKET: Take care when removing your locket as they are made of sapphire crystal and can be damaged if they are dropped on a hard surface.
- STORING YOUR LOCKET: We recommend storing your locket in its original box.
- CLEANING YOUR LOCKET: Please note that due to the metallic composition of the varying carats of gold that we use in our jewellery, you might experience some tarnishing over time. Clean your locket and chain by rubbing it with a dry lint free cloth. Should your locket require a professional clean please use a professional jewellery service or contact us at customercare@loquetlondon.com and we will be happy to assist you.
- REPAIRING YOUR LOCKET: If your locket is accidentally damaged you can return it to Loquet London for repair (fees and shipping apply). Please note that all repairs are hand crafted which means this process may take up to 8 weeks. Before returning, please email repairs@loquetlondon.com for return instructions.
CHARM CARE: Your charms are made of solid 18k gold and set with diamonds and semi-precious stones. To keep your gemstones sparkling and your gold glowing soak them with a jewellery cleaning solution that is adequate for gemstones and leave for 10 minutes. Remove, rub gently and dry thoroughly with a lint free cloth. It is important to make sure your charms are completely dry before putting them back in your locket.
