How did you come up with the idea for this charm?

My dogs are my children and are a constant source of joy to me. My miniature poodle Davis’ sweet nature and regal disposition inspired me to fashion this charm after him. And now everyone can have a little piece of his beauty.

Tell us about your chosen charity?

I chose Broadway Barks because Broadway is a part of my DNA, and I am a passionate advocate for animals. I performed on Broadway for many years so I know how much incredible work Bernadette Peters and this organization do to support Shelters in New York City.

What inspires you?

I think I am most inspired when I get an opportunity to spread awareness and help others. Anytime I feel overwhelmed or stressed, the first thing I do is ask myself how I can give back. When I stop thinking about myself and start thinking about others I find the inspiration and motivation I need.

Home is… ?

Right now Home is the world. I am splitting my time mostly between New York and Milan but I have been on tour for the past year and a half so I feel connected to so many beautiful places!

Best piece of advice?

Anytime you are feeling anxious or like there is no way out of your problem go volunteer or ask a friend if they need help. Don’t allow yourself to fret about things too much because the sun always rises.

Most treasured belonging?

My babies Davis and Lil’ Romeo. I will need to make a charm for Romeo now.

If I told you, it would no longer be a secret. The world could use a little more mystery.
