How did you come up with the idea for this charm?

My girls (Luna, 6, Isa, 4, Silvi 4) love to sing “You are my sunshine” and it's become a staple in our home. Anything sun related has a special meaning to me now because I think of my greatest gift and my biggest joy - my daughters.

What Charity did you choose and why?

I chose Save the Children because Coronavirus is the biggest global health crisis in our lifetime and they help children in unsafe households as well as helps prepare doctors and health clinics in refugee camps.

Most treasured?

I am sentimental about my family so I have many things I treasure. My brother is very creative and has made me a number of drawings that I cherish. My sister and I share a collection of charms too. But maybe above all, I have a silk robe that was my mothers when she was young. It's soft and beautiful and when I wrap it around me it feels like a hug.

What superpower do you have?

I think my superpower is hope, or conviction... in my life they are pretty similar. I often do things despite the risks involved and despite the fear I sometimes feel. I was taught failure is part of the process, it's not the outcome. So this sense of hope, or belief that I can keep going, makes me do just that. That's how Super Smalls was born.

Best piece of news this month?

Seeing the results of my homeschooling paying off as my kids improve in their schoolwork!

Happiness is…?

Happiness is reality minus expectations.

If you could change the world?

I think a single solution, like a vaccine for Covid, is needed right now, but as a long term dream, I would make us less divided, somehow.
